If ever an image of generosity, good manners and good speech, compassion and selflessness is made, I think it will be quite similar to the esteemed Muhammad Yunus Sahib. I have found you outwardly and inwardly a true and steadfast Muslim and a man of high character. If there is light on the face, then there is a servant of patience and gratitude in the eyes. If they are bound by fasting and prayers, then they are also upright and clean in matters. Despite being in various important management positions, his friendship was exemplary.Free from the tactics of name and appearance, living in the world and being aware of the good and evil of the world around you, staying aloof from the world, keeping yourself away from its wind and the plague that spreads in it, are your distinguishing qualities. You hate lies and hypocrisy. He did not defile his tongue and heart with lies. He always concentrated on his work with honesty. For you, the key to success is to keep doing your job with sincerity and dedication. Everything else is temporary. If your work is good then one day people will be forced to admit it themselves. Your faith seems to be very strong in the fact that only God, the Lord of Glory, is the Giver of honor and humiliation. Nothing happens by human doing.I have never seen malice in your heart for anyone. They must be angry. If there is any grievance against someone, they also express it openly. Complaints also indicate your love, unity and sincere attachment. آج ہمارے محسن و مربی ، مشفق و ہمدرد جناب محمّد یونس صاحب بھی 34/ سال اپنے علم و فن سے کئی نسلوں کو آراستہ کرنے کے بعد ریٹائر ہو گئے ۔۔۔۔عاجزی و انکساری، تہذیب و ادب کی پاسداری، اخلاق مندی و دیانت داری، خوش سلیقگی و خوش گفتاری، درد مندی و خود داری کی اگر کبھی شبیہ بنائی جائے تو مجھے لگتا ہے کہ وہ کافی حد تک محترم محمّد یونس صاحب کے مشابہ ہوگی۔ میں نے آپ کو ظاہر و باطن سے سچّا اور پکّا مسلمان اور بلند کردار انسان پایا ہے۔ چہرے پر نور ہے تو آنکھوں میں صبر و شکر کا سرور۔ صوم و صلوٰۃ کے پابند ہیں تو معاملات میں بھی بالکل کھرے اور صاف ستھرے۔ مختلف اہم انتظامی عہدوں پر فائز رہتے ہوۓ بھی ان کی ملنساری مثالی رہی ۔۔ نام و نمود کے حربوں سے پاک، دنیا میں رہ کر آس پاس کی دنیا کی اچھائی اور برائی سے واقف ہوتے ہوئے دنیا سے بے زار رہنا، اس کی ہوا اور اس میں پھیلی وبا سے خود کو الگ رکھنا، آپ کے امتیازی اوصاف ہیں۔ جھوٹ اور منافقانہ رویوں سے آپ کو نفرت ہے۔ جھوٹ سے اپنی زبان و دل کو آلودہ نہیں کرتے تھے۔وہ ہمیشہ دیانت داری کے ساتھ اپنے کام پر توجہ دیتے ہیں۔ آپ کے نزدیک اخلاص اور لگن سے اپنا کام کرتے رہنا ہی کامیابی کا اصل زینہ ہے دوسری تمام چیزیں وقتی ہیں۔ اگر آپ کا کام اچھا ہے تو ایک نہ ایک دن لوگ خود ہی اس کا اعتراف کرنے پر مجبور ہوں گے۔ اس بات پر آپ کا ایمان بہت پختہ نظر آتا ہے کہ عزّت و ذلّت دینے والی صرف اور صرف اللہ رب العزّت ہی کی ذاتِ پاک ہے۔ انسان کے کرنے سے کچھ نہیں ہوتا۔
میں نے کبھی بھی آپ کے دل میں کسی شخص کے لیے بغض و کینہ نہیں دیکھا۔ ناراض ضرور ہوتے ہیں۔ کسی سے کوئی شکوہ ہو تو اس کا بھی کھل کر اظہار کرتے ہیں۔ شکوے سے آپ کی محبت، یگانگت اور پُر خلوص لگاو کا بھی اندازہ ہوتا ہے۔ عفو و درگزر سے کام لیتے ہوئے ہمیشہ اپنا دل صاف رکھتے ہیں جس کی گواہی آپ کا پُر نور و پُر سکون چہرہ دیتا ہے۔۔۔بہت سادہ ، منکسر المزاج، مرنجان مرنج شخصیت کے حامل جناب محمّد یونس کی پوری ملازمت میں خدمت انسانیت پیش پیش رہی ۔۔۔میں محترم محمّد یونس صاحب کی شاندار ریٹائرمنٹ پر ہدیہ تہنیت پیش کرتے ہوئے ان کی درازی عمر کے لیے دعا گو ہوں کہ اللّه پاک ان۔ کو زندگی میں ہر طرح کی پریشانی سے محفوظ رکھے اور خوش حال درازی عمر سے نوازے ۔۔۔آمین ۔
